Kate Carlson is a Fort Collins, Colorado-based artist experimenting with paper, design, and intuitive making. Her paper-cut scenes place familiar subjects into strange, dreamlike worlds. Drawing from memory and everyday life, her colorful, surreal compositions feel playful, curious, and emotionally true all at once.
