Artist Statement / / I use my body and physical presence through the media of film and live performance art to challenge the way people view themselves and their worlds, emphasizing and unpacking human behavior. I generate my creations through a process of embodiment, capturing concepts on film, continuously editing living drafts, and nurturing a lifestyle that allows my ideas to organically channel through me. I aim to express a sense of freedom for myself, and my ancestors who lacked the ability to live their truths, ultimately healing the generational trauma of repression.
